Is there anywhere I can purchase a replacement for the foam 'anti tilt' oval? (or I guess a new belt but 'without the light')
If the belt or oval has broken, can you send a photo and mailing address to paul@light-belt.com. From the photo we can determine what needs to be replaced and we can send you a replacement oval or belt.

What is expected transit time for shipments to Canada (Toronto) and do you have an estimate for additional shipping/customs clearance costs? Thank you.
We shipped an LB1 to North Vancouver BC on May 6, 2021 from California. According to USPS tracking, it arrived on May 11. We have to charge an extra $20 for shipping to Canada.

How long does it typically take to charge the battery? I’m not seeing the green light, only red after charging for quite awhile.
It can take a very long time to charge the battery because the battery has a very high power capacity. A Duracell AA battery has a capacity rating of around 400-900 milliampere hours (mAh). In contrast, our Panasonic battery is rated at 3,400 mAh. Our battery is typically fully charged after being plugged in overnight. The speed of recharging is based upon the USB power supply that you are using. More powerful USB power supplies will charge faster. Occasionally, the charge light is defective. If your charge light never turns green, please let us know and we will ship you a new light.

What is the difference between LB1 & LB2? Which is better for trail running?
The real difference between the one LED LB1 and two LED LB2 is that the LB2 is initially brighter but it is shorter in battery duration. For night trail runners who need the maximum light the LB2 is recommended. However, for ultrarunners who need more than 4 hours of continuous light, we recommend the LB1. If you are going to be running more than 6 hours in the dark, we recommend running with a spare LB1 and then swapping the light in the clip after the light dies. Alternatively, run with an LB1 and a spare battery and swapping the battery when the light does.

Are you guys based in the US? What are your shipping times like with respect to COVID?
Hi Rob,
Yes - we are based in Mill Valley, California. Shipping times depend upon your location. Shipping is typically by priority mail so deliveries to the west coast is typically 2 days and the east coast is 3-4 days. There have not been any significant shipping delays due to COVID (or fires) to the best of our knowledge. We also have a backup power system in the event of power outages which are common in the fall here.
Best Regards,
Light-Belt
